Example pocket, real prices
Pocket money
that buys stocks.
Fund a pocket with USDG, set a weekly limit and the Stock Tokens it can buy. Whoever holds it decides what and when, and every buy lands in their own wallet. You can change the rules or take the money back at any time.
Two sides, one contract
The giver sets the limits and keeps control of the money. The holder makes the choices inside them.
The giver
a parent, a partner, a friend, yourself
- Open a pocket for a wallet address with a weekly limit, say $50.
- Pick the stocks it may buy, from all 27 down to one, and choose whether cash can come out too.
- Fund it with USDG. Anyone can top it up later, from grandma to a payroll wallet.
- Change or close whenever you want; the USDG left comes back to you.
The holder
the one the pocket is for
- Sees the week: how much is left and when the limit resets.
- Buys any allowed stock with any part of what is left.
- Owns it: the Stock Token goes straight to their wallet, not back into the pocket.
- Pays a fair price: the buy fills within 1.5% of Chainlink, or it doesn't fill.
Who it's for
Same contract, different limits.
Weekly money that turns into shares of companies they know, not candy.
A shared budget for investing, without a joint account.
Real money with guardrails: a cap per week and only the stocks you agreed on.
A second wallet that can only buy, a weekly cap on your own impulses.
What a pocket can buy
The 27 Robinhood Stock Tokens with Chainlink feeds. The giver picks any mix.
The rules
Written into the contract.
| The week | Starts when the pocket opens and rolls over every 7 days. Unspent limit does not carry over; the USDG stays in the pocket. |
| Buying | Through the token's Uniswap pool, with a minimum out set from Chainlink. A pool more than 1.5% off fails the buy instead of filling badly. |
| Cash out | Off by default. When the giver turns it on, the holder can take USDG within the same weekly limit. |
| Control | Only the giver can change the limit, the stocks or the cash setting, take USDG back or close the pocket. |
| Fee | 0.3% of each buy, capped at 1% in the contract. None when the giver holds 50,000 $PCKT. |
| The owner | Can list Stock Tokens, routes and limits within hard caps. Can't touch a pocket. |
Questions
A little, for gas on Robinhood Chain. A few cents covers many buys.
No. Only USDG still in the pocket. What the holder bought is in their wallet and belongs to them.
Any address works. A wallet the kid can use, set up with you, is all it takes.
The buy reverts and nothing is spent. Try again later or a smaller amount.
Yes, as a giver and as a holder. Each has its own limit, stocks and balance.
No. The contract has unit tests and a test buying NVDA and COIN on real pools on a copy of mainnet.
